WHAT IS (MTG) MAKE THE GRADE FOUNDATION?

THE MAKE THE GRADE FOUNDATION IS A PARTNERSHIP AND COLLABORATION BETWEEN PARENT, TEACHER, STUDENT, COMMUNITY & CLERGY WITH A FIANCIAL LITERACY AND HEALTH COMPONENT, TO HELP IN THE EDIFICATION OF YOUNG MINDS. 

THE MAKE THE GRADE SHADOW PROGRAM 

Introducing students to places of business, students get an idea of what goes on at the workplace. 

MAKE THE GRADE COLLEGE FAIRS 

Partnering with organizations to bring College Fairs to our communities bringing everything together under one roof to help families get the information they need to make an intelligent  decision as to which institution their child can attend. 

MAKE THE GRADE COLLEGE BUS TOURS 

Collaborating and Sponsoring of students on bus tours going to HBCUs and other Colleges & Universities around the US. Students participate in Campus Tours, Lectures, Video’s, Speeches & Steps from Fraternity & Sororities with Music, Food and Fun. Students can get a feel for what it’s like to be on a College Campus. 

MAKE THE GRADE LOCAL SCHOOL TOURS 

Speaking at schools throughout the Tri-State area, meeting with Parents, Teachers and Students, always looking for better ways to help enhance the edification of our students. 

MAKE THE GRADE EDUCATIONAL BOOK SERIES  

Creating the awareness in our community of the importance of reading and sharing books that are Educational, Motivational and Inspirational including our published books; “7 Ways to Make the Grade,” “Your Daily Dose of Quotes” Vol. 1 & 2 and “People to Know in Black History & Beyond” Vol.1 & Vol.2  

THE MAKE THE GRADE “SAVE A LIFE RESCUE VEHICLE” 

In collaboration with The Bedford Stuyvesant  Volunteer Ambulance Corp. Started by retired FDNY Lt. Rocky Robinson. 

Emergency Safety features; The vehicle is equipped with Lights, Sirens and Safety equipment, We supply PPE’s Masks, Hand Sanitizers, Alcohol & Cleaning products. Do CPR & Give CPR Classes in the field. We secure emergency sites & can alter the flow of traffic. Soon to be added; Narcan for drug overdose and Defibrillator for heart attack victims. 

MAKE THE GRADE FOOD INSECURITY PROGRAM 

Shopping for families of school aged children who are having a hard time feeding their family. (Turkey giveaways) & information on food pantries. 

THE MTG “WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED” BLANKET PROGRAM 

Giving blankets to the homeless & to homeless students and their families. 

MTG COMMUNICATION CLUB 

Building internet Radio & TV stations for Churches, Community Centers & Schools. Also Teaching Students how to gather information, Communicate, Educate, Play Music & Entertain. 

THE MAKE THE GRADE COMMUNITY MINISTRY  

Community Building, Helping to bring the community together,
